Overview of 2012 goals





Improve editorial quality: 
By end of September:  increase monthly local traffic by50% over September 2011
increase voices of color to 1/3 of contributors and subjects 
diversify story forms and use new tools for reader engagement


by the end of July: experiment with crowd-sourced story, audio slide show, reader submitted video, live chat
